Dress: Girl Scout uniform dress. The dress is green polyester and cotton. It has short sleeves with 1" cuffs. On the left sleeve is a green oblong patch. In green is "GIRL SCOUTS USA" and above it is a red, white, and blue shield. The collar is notched. The dress has eight 3/4" green plastic buttons down the front. The buttons have a green GS symbol of a trefoil with an eagle in it and a "GS" at the top. The dress opens to within 6 1/2" of the hem line. There is a left breast patch pocket. There is a lower patch pocket on each side. The back of the dress has a yoke. Below the yoke is a pleat on each side running to the waist. On the inside back neck is a white label with green "PERMANENT PRESS". On the right side of the label is "65% DACRON POLYESTER 35% COTTON/NO IRONING NEEDED". On the right side of the label is "Wash in warm water/Tumble dry - remove promptly/If line dried hang out/Avoid ironing hem/if garment is altered". On the left side of the label is "OFFICAL/GIRL (symbol of "GS "in trefoil) SCOUTS/NEW YORK N.Y.". Written on the back of the label in faded black ink is "Kelly McGonagle/194 Audrey Ave/Red Wing". Condition - Good. There are no stains or holes. Needed to complete uniform--girl scout anklets or knee socks, sash which has Cannon Valley emblem Troop #236, brownie pins and scout pins (years), wings, badges, and girl scout pin and national-world pin.
